Put the booking form on your own website

If you already have a website you like, keep it. The booking widget drops into it, and this is also where conversion tracking is set up.

This guide answers

  • How do I add the booking form to my existing website?
  • How do I track booking conversions?
  • How do I connect Google Ads or the Meta pixel?

Settings → Widget & tracking.

You do not have to use the Glovebox website. If you have a site you are happy with, embed the booking widget into it and keep everything else as it is.

Styling it

Choose a light or dark widget theme and an accent colour so it sits in your existing design rather than on top of it. Set these before you embed, then look at it on your own page.

Conversion tracking

Tracking is on by default, and this is where you connect it to your own accounts:

  • Google Analytics 4 — measurement ID, and an API secret if you want server-side events, which are the ones that survive ad-blockers.
  • Google Ads — conversion ID and label, so a booking counts as a conversion against your campaigns.
  • Meta pixel — pixel ID.

Leave any of them blank and that platform is simply not fed.

Getting it right

Make a test booking after connecting, then check it appears in the platform. Tracking that was never verified is worse than none, because you will make spending decisions on it.

If it did not work

  • Bookings are not showing as conversions. Check the ID is right and tracking is on, then make a test booking — most platforms take a while to show the first one.
  • The widget looks wrong on your page. Set the widget theme to match your site's background; a light widget on a dark page is the usual cause.
