This guide answers

  • Why am I not converting?
  • Where do customers give up booking?
  • How many people finish a booking?

Operations → Booking funnel.

It counts people through the stages of your booking page and shows where they stop.

How to read it

The number that matters is not any single stage, it is the biggest fall between two stages. That is one specific thing turning people away, and it is usually fixable:

  • A fall at dates or vehicle choice often means nothing was available. Check your fleet against the dates people are asking for.
  • A fall at pricing means the number surprised them. Compare it with what your competitors show for the same dates.
  • A fall at payment is usually friction — too many fields, or a payment method they did not expect.

Use it with abandoned carts

The funnel tells you where. Abandoned carts gives you the people, with contact details. One is the pattern, the other is the phone call.

If it did not work

  • The numbers look too low. Check tracking is switched on under Widget & tracking.
  • A stage shows nothing. Nobody reached it in the period you are looking at, which is itself the finding.
