Settings → Localisation.
- Country and currency.
- Timezone — every date and time in Glovebox is shown in this. Get it right before you take bookings, or your pickup times will be out.
- Date format — day/month/year by default.
- Distance unit — kilometres or miles. Mileage allowances and charges follow it.
- Fuel economy unit.
- Tax mode — whether prices are shown including or excluding tax. Inclusive by default, which is what New Zealand customers expect.
- Tax registration label — "GST Number" by default; change it to whatever your country calls it.
Why to do this early
These are the units everything else is expressed in. Changing the timezone after you have bookings does not move the bookings — it changes how existing times are displayed, which is confusing at best. Set it once, at the start.
If it did not work
- Times are out by hours. The timezone is wrong. Fix it, then check a booking you know the real time of.
- Prices look wrong. Check the tax mode — the same number means different things inclusive and exclusive.
