Revenue → Demand pricing, if it is switched on for your account.
Read this first
This is an optional module, and it is off until you switch it on. Open Settings → Explore features and turn on Demand pricing. It is included in your plan, so there is nothing extra to pay. Until it is on the screen is not in your sidebar, and that is expected rather than a fault.
Which screen is which
Two similarly named things sit next to each other under Revenue:
- Demand pricing — this one. Uplift rules you write, plus a ceiling on how far an uplift can go.
- Automatic demand pricing — the engine that works uplifts out for itself from utilisation, lead time and booking pace. See Let Glovebox adjust prices for demand.
They are independent. Most operators want one or the other rather than both, and if you are unsure, the automatic one has a shadow mode that lets you watch before committing.
When you would want the manual one
When you know something about your market that no engine can infer from your booking data — a festival weekend, a competitor closing, a ferry timetable change. You write the uplift; it does what you said.
If it did not work
- You cannot find Demand pricing in the sidebar. The module is off. Turn it on under Settings → Explore features; the screen appears once it is enabled.
- You found "Automatic demand pricing" instead. Different screen, different feature. See the section above.
